Mixer The Cat

Calista left her house, she walked out, and spotted the prettiest butterfly she had ever seen
It had the mostest, yellowest, coolest, wings she had ever seen

It was sitting on a leaf of a dandelion, and just letting the sun warm its sunny, yellow, buttery wings.

Then it was that Calista noticed another thing. There was a bluebird, it's wings close, but not exactly like the periwinkle flowers she loved to pick and hold.

Well, this little flying creature, that was as blue as blue could be, didn't notice the little girl watching her, but it DID see the butterfly, and I guess the bird thought it looked like butter as well, cause it had the hint of a hungry,  focused look in its eyes.

So Calista stared at the grasshopper, which stared at the grass it was eating. She also stared at the bird, which was getting ready to make it's move. It began to move, ever so little, closer to the butterfly.

Soooo, just when the blue bird, was about to eat the yellow butterfly, BAM! CRASH!

Out of nowhere a black cat, quietly, and nimbly, pounced. The cat got the bird, which had gotten the butterfly, just before it was swallowed by the cat.

The cat landed , and was a bit shaken up. Calista stared, fascinated.

All of a sudden, there was a small rumble heard, within the cat. Calista could see parts of it's stomach moving, under it's jet black fur. She couldn't look away now! No matter what.

The cat suddenly looked up at the sky, and slowly opened it's mouth. Out came a green  bird. With slightly yellowish blue wing tips.
She could believe her eyes. The bird that had gone in that cat was blue. The butterfly was yellow. Out came a green bird.

It all made sense to her then. She was to keep the cat as a friend, and name the cat Mixer. So she did. The end,
